SKINCARE | Adore Cosmetics Oxygen Booster Kit Review *

Yup!
There’s a skincare line designed to restore oxygen to your skin cells promising a renewed and more glowing complexion.  Who would have thought!   But does it REALLY work THAT well to justify the splurge?!  We’re about to find out…

On my last trip to Miami, I got more PR samples from Adore Cosmetics.
You probably heard of Adore Cosmetics before. A luxury skincare brand notorious for being the preferred choice of multiple celebrities.

I’m not a first timer when it comes to Adore skincare products.  You may have read or watched my review on  CellMax Kit not so long ago.  But the last few days I gave the Adore Cosmetics Oxygen Booster Kit a go… so this is what I will be reviewing today!

Can you blame me?  Who doesn’t want a shot at trying out the high end skincare lines that only the rich and famous can access.

The ingredients listed on their site for this product are: their signature plant stem cell formula, glycerin and orange oil.

So first things first: let’s take a moment to discuss the packaging. A cream leather case with a mirror that is sturdy enough to protect the skincare products inside while traveling or that you can keep using to store jewelry or makeup once you’re done with the products inside.
Luxury skincare needs luxury packaging – IMHO, it just makes total sense – so thumbs up for this!

Inside the leather case you get three products, that you need to apply in the following order:

1.  Adore Oxygen Booster Microdermabrasion and Peeling Treatment
This product has an orange color and scent and a crystal texture.  You need to apply to your clean skin.  I personally used it on my T-Zone and my jawline where I have a small dark spot that I’m looking to get rid of.  The sensation while applying this is that it was gently abrasive.

2.   Adore Oxygen Booster Microdermabrasion Activator Serum.
Step 2 is where all the fun begins!
Apply the serum on top of the Peeling Treatment.  You will notice that the products combined start foaming up a little.  You will also feel a warm sensation.  That’s when the microdermabrasion is taking place.
Don’t get me wrong it’s not something that will make you feel uncomfortable.  It should not burn, tingle, itch or cause irritation, unless you have any specific allergies.  Luckily I didn’t. All I felt was a subtle warmth.  One word of warning:  if you have a cut on your face or fingers you should keep the serum away from it. In that case, yes it will burn a bit.  Happened to me!  I had a paper cut on one of my fingers 😦
The serum also has a very convenient packaging with a pump to pick up and release drops while avoiding product contamination.

3. Adore Oxygen Booster Microdermabrasion and Nourishing Cream

Following the serum, what you’d want to do is rinse the products  with water and then gently use a clean towel to dab your face, but not completely.
Final step is to apply the micro dermabrasion and nourishing cream.  This cream is specifically designed for post – microdermabrasion hydration. It is very refreshing and has a medium to light texture that makes it easy to absorb.

The recommended use of this kit is 2-3 times a week.  Personally, I used it only once a week for a period of 2 weeks.  I like to be conservative when incorporating new treatments to my skincare routine because of my skin’s sensitivity.

The results and my final verdict?  Check them out on my video!

I’m aware these are very expensive items as can be expected from a luxury skincare brand.  So Adore has extended a very special 50% discount exclusive to my subscribers and valid on any online purchases. All you need to do is use discount code HEIDI50 at checkout.

Also, make sure you keep an eye on their Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Pinterest , G+ and Instagram pages… they very often host giveaways there and who knows?? You may get one of these for FREE!
